Ways We Can Work Together

Postpartum Doula Support:
In-Person in Bergen & Rockland
+ Virtual Anywhere

I’m Jess, a postpartum doula supporting families in Bergen County, New Jersey and Rockland County, New York, as well as virtually anywhere.

I help you navigate the foggy, overwhelming postpartum weeks with practical, in-home postpartum support, overnight care, and virtual postpartum planning that’s evidence-based, judgment-free, and designed around your real life—not a perfect Instagram version of it.

Whether you want someone to come to your home and help with baby, meals, and laundry, or you’d rather get a virtual postpartum strategy session to make a realistic plan, we’ll build support that fits your family.

If you’re local to Bergen County, NJ or Rockland County, NY,
I offer in-home postpartum doula services: daytime help, overnight newborn support, and simple systems that make daily life feel lighter.

During a daytime postpartum visit, I come to your home and focus on rest, food, baby care, and basic household tasks so you’re not doing everything alone. A visit might include:

  • Caring for baby so you can sleep, shower, or eat with two hands

  • Light meal and snack prep so you’re not living on random bites over the sink

  • Washing bottles, pump parts, and setting up a simple feeding station

  • Light baby-related laundry and tidying of your main living spaces

  • Talking through what’s feeling heavy and making bare-minimum plans for the week

  • Gentle, evidence-based education on postpartum recovery, feeding, and newborn care without overwhelming you

Daytime Support

Hands-on daytime support for the “everything feels like a lot” stage.

  • Visit length: Minimum 2 hours per visit

  • Ideal timing: Especially helpful in the first 4–12 weeks postpartum

Daytime postpartum doula support is for you if:

  • You’re exhausted and need practical in-home support, not more advice

  • You’re doing “okay” on paper, but everything feels scattered and chaotic

  • You want a calm, non-judgmental person to step in and help you reset your day

These postpartum meal prep sessions are focused on one thing: making sure you have food you actually want to eat, ready when you need it. Before I come over, we’ll brainstorm a simple, realistic menu together based on your tastes, restrictions, and energy level.

On the day of your session:

  • You’ll have groceries ready at home (or I can do the shopping for an additional fee)

  • I’ll come to your kitchen and prep full meals, easy snacks, freezer-friendly options, and meal components you can mix and match through the week

  • We’ll prioritize “bare minimum but satisfying” options so you’re not stuck choosing between cooking and collapsing on the couch

In-home postpartum meal prep is for you if:

  • You’re living on snacks and takeout, and it’s not feeling sustainable

  • You want to feed yourself something real without adding more decision fatigue

  • You know that having food ready would make everything else feel a little more doable

You can book postpartum meal prep as a standalone service or combine it with daytime in-home postpartum support for a full reset: care for you, care for baby, and care for your kitchen.

In-Home Postpartum Meal Prep

Real food, ready to go—without you having to think about it.

  • Groceries: You shop ahead using a list we create together, or I can shop for you for an additional fee

  • Customization: We’ll tailor everything to your preferences, dietary needs, and kitchen setup

Overnight support is designed so you can get longer stretches of sleep while your baby is cared for safely. Wake up in the morning rested with your laundry already folded. An overnight might include:

  • Caring for baby overnight so you can rest between feeds

  • Bringing baby to you for chestfeeding/bodyfeeding and handling diaper changes, soothing, and resettling

  • Bottle feeding and safe formula prep if that’s part of your plan

  • Tracking feeds and sleep so you wake up knowing what actually happened

  • A light morning reset in baby’s space or the kitchen so the day starts a little smoother

Overnight Support

You get some sleep. I’ll take the night shift.

  • Shift length: 6–10+ hours per night, 2-4 days per week

  • Ideal for: Parents running on fumes, returning to work, or juggling older kids plus a newborn

Overnight postpartum doula support is for you if:

  • You’re so tired you feel like a different person

  • Nights are the hardest part of your 24 hours

  • You’d love to wake up and think, “Okay, I can do today,” instead of “How am I still awake?”

If you’re outside my in-person service area, or simply prefer support without someone in your home, I offer virtual postpartum doula services. These sessions give you a thinking partner, a realistic plan, and ongoing support from anywhere.

Postpartum Strategy Session

A focused 75–90 minute virtual postpartum planning session to make the next 4–6 weeks feel lighter.

This is a one-time, deep-dive call where we focus on what feels heaviest right now—sleep, support, visitors, expectations, meals, or routines—and build a bare-minimum, doable plan together.

During your virtual postpartum strategy session we can:

  • Map out how rest, feeding, and basic life tasks can realistically fit into your days

  • Talk through expectations (yours, your partner’s, and extended family’s) and where they’re clashing with reality

  • Identify where you need more support, boundaries, or systems

  • Choose 3–5 small, high-impact changes that will make your days more manageable

Perfect for:

  • Expecting parents who want a postpartum planning session before baby arrives

  • Parents in the first few months postpartum feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure what to change

  • Families who don’t have much in-person support nearby and want expert guidance

Depending on what you need, our time together can include:

  • Regular video calls to check in, troubleshoot, and tweak your routines

  • Solid, evidence-based answers to your “is this normal?” postpartum and newborn questions

  • Support around mood changes, identity shifts, relationships, and the mental load of parenting

  • Guidance on building or rebuilding your support system, plus scripts for setting boundaries

  • Simple systems for meals, household tasks, and rest that match your actual capacity—not an imaginary ideal

Postpartum Support Sessions

Ongoing virtual postpartum support with regular check-ins and realistic planning.

These Postpartum Support Sessions are short-term, virtual doula sessions where we meet to talk through what’s coming up and adjust your plan as life keeps happening.

Good fit for:

  • Families who want more than a one-time call and feel calmer knowing “we’ll talk again soon”

  • Parents navigating ongoing challenges like sleep, feeding, recovery, or overwhelm

  • Anyone wanting virtual postpartum support sessions with a consistent, familiar person instead of starting over with someone new each time

We’ll decide together how many sessions you need and how often we’ll meet, so your postpartum support plan fits your life, not the other way around.

How to Work With Me

Step 1 – Reach Out

Use my contact form to share where you live, your due date or baby’s age, and what you’re struggling with most. This helps me understand which postpartum doula services fit best, if you don’t already know what kind of help you need.

Step 2 – Free Connection Call

We’ll schedule a free 20–30 minute call. You can ask questions and tell me about your family, I’ll explain how I support families as a postpartum doula (in-person or virtual), and we’ll see if it feels like a good fit.

Step 3 – Choose Your Support

Together we’ll decide whether you need daytime in-home help, overnight postpartum support, a one-time virtual postpartum strategy session, or a short-term virtual support bundle. I’ll share details on rates, availability, and next steps.

Step 4 – Start Feeling Less Alone

We get your first visit or session on the calendar. From there, we build a plan that centers your recovery, your baby, and your whole family—at a pace that fits your actual capacity.
